Before choosing a particular model, it's essential to answer the following questions:
- What is your skiing ability?
- Where will you ski? How steep is the slope?
- What type of turns do you prefer?
Don't be too modest or overly confident about your skiing ability. Improvement requires not only proper training and motivation but also the right equipment. As you become more skilled, you can opt for faster skis. Beginners should consider models from the Endurance series, while advanced skiers may choose between Endurance Speed or racing skis from the Race Series.
You might wonder why speed matters when it's not a concern for winter alpine skiing – but with grass skiing, there are no brakes or skidding options. An inexperienced skier speeding down a slope without control is undesirable. However, more speed can bring more excitement and leaning into turns to carve curves. So, fast skis aren't ideal for skilled skiers.
If your practice slope is relatively flat, go for faster skis. For steeper slopes, slower skis are the better choice.
There's no one-size-fits-all ski model for every kind of turn. You'll need to select a model that suits your preferences in most situations.
The ski's radius depends on its length; shorter skis have a smaller radius and better turning ability. Short-turn enthusiasts should opt for 80-85 cm skis – also a popular choice for slalom competitors. For those who prefer longer turns, 85-90 cm skis are ideal. Skis longer than 90 cm are mainly for competition use and not recommended for recreational sport.
Choosing the right ski isn't too difficult. After considering your slope preferences, decide on a model and length accordingly. We're always available to help with your decision-making; don't hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Note that conventional ski boots can be used for grass skiing. If your boots are longer than 330 mm, notify us during the order checkout, and we'll replace standard binding parts with XXL components.

Another difference that is not always easy to describe is development and innovation. In Racer skis, even during one season, skis are modified and improved to achieve the maximum possible - speed, low weight, etc. For skis of other model lines, all changes will be reflected in the offer later.
